By purchasing an Akasa wishing pendant, you not only own a personal symbol of hope and transformation you also contribute to the education of underprivileged girls in India. Since our inception, Hathi LLC has provided part of their proceeds to help these first generation learners complete their high school education.

The Challenge
Societal pressures, the family's inability to supply essential school provisions, and child marriage result in millions of girls dropping out after completing primary education, if not sooner.
Making an Impact Together
Since 2010, Hathi LLC has supported underprivileged girls through their high school education. We are currently supporting 18 girls. Through an NGO Project called Nanhi Kali, each girl receives her required school supplies for the year, including feminine hygiene products. Digital literacy, financial literacy, critical thinking, communication, and an after-school sports program prepare these girls for a seamless transition from the classroom to higher education and the workplace.
